Sting - Concert information

Setlist same as: 15-10-1999.

Attendance: 1,400.
During the third show in Las Vegas Sting's voice was showing signs of overuse.
Sting spoke about the previous night's earthquake. He said he was on the 38th floor of a high rise in town (Four Seasons) and was in bed when it struck. He got up and decided that he better get out of the high rise, but had trouble deciding what he was going to wear.
He spoke of the previous night's screw up during Seven Days and how he had to start the song three times. He said that he had the lyrics with him tonight, but if the audience caught him looking at the lyrics he gave them permission to boo.
During Englishman In New York Branford Marsalis came on stage, dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, and joined Sting and the band on tenor sax. He also joined during Brand New Day and Tomorrow We'll See. He left for Roxanne, but came back on stage for Bring on the Night/ When The World Is Running Down and the three encore songs (If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, Every Breath You Take and Lithium Sunset). Branford was absent for Fragile however. Sting and Branford were really enjoying each other. Unfortunately, Branford and Chris Botti didn't mesh real well, and it was obvious that Chris felt left out of the parts he normally played, as Branford took many of those parts.
