Before Shadows In the Rain: "We begin at the right time, you know. Let's go".
Before Driven To Tears: "Tonight is the first gig of our tour. Any [??] will be part of the proces, you'll understand. This song is called Driven To Tears".
Before Consider Me Gone: "Thank you very much. I'd like to introduce you to my friends here. On the saxophone is Branford Marsalis. On the keyboards is Kenny Kirkland. On the bass is Darryl Jones. On the drums is Omar Hakim. And over here is Janice Pendarvis and that is miss McDonald. Mrs McDonald, sorry. This song is called Consider Me Gone". During the intro: "Why are you touching me foot?".
Before Children's Crusade: "I'll tell you what. Because of the lights up here I can't see any people up there. Can you.. No, no, better than that. Better than that. What about up here? That's cool. That's alright then. This song has a story to it. In the 12th century two monks had this brilliant idea of recruiting children to fight in a holy war in Palestina, but they were selling them as slaves. This is called the Children's Crusade".
