The Police - Concert information

[Updated: August 12, 2001]

07-02-1984 / Atlantic City, NJ / Convention Center / USA
Setlist same as: 04-02-1984.
Support act: Re-Flex.
Attendance: 18,000.
Before Walking On The Moon: "Is there anybody here from New Jersey? Anywhere else? What about New York? Philadelphia? We'll get together places in a minute. What about Atlantic City? People DO live here".
Before O My God: "Do you know what this place reminds me of? At the end of a Bugs Bunny cartoon [..] Don't you think so? What's up, Doc?'".
Before Invisible Sun: "Someone threw me their purse. Make sure there is some money in it".
Before the community singing in Can't Stand Losing You: "There is a lot of echo in We'll do a little experiment, right? Involving the physics of sound. This building strikes me as being very suited to this experiment, because it's kind of tubular. If 18,000 people sang at the top of their voices the same note, then maybe they'll hear in New York. Maybe even in Philadelphia. Maybe they'll even hear in Hoboken. No, I don't think so. Are you ready? Just sing what I sing".
