"The Police Picnic '82" line-up: The Spoons, A Flock Of Seagulls, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The English Beat, The Talking Heads, The Police.
Attendance: 45,000.
For the second time The Police headlined at "The Police Picnic". "It's nice to be back at our annual event in Toronto", said Sting before Walking On The Moon: "There is only one thing missing. Maybe the song will provide the inspiration for it to come out".
Before Demolition Man: "This is a gentle song, which really descripes my true nature".
Ranking Roger of The English Beat came on stage during One World and did a mini "rap" in the middle.
