• Support act: Vitesse.
• Attendance: 2,000.
The Dutch band Vitesse and The Police both performed for the radio and TV-program Veronica "Countdown".
"Cheers. It's good to be in Holland. This is Holland, isn't? This is a song from our new LP, which is called Reggatta de Blanc, which is French. I don't know the translation into Dutch, but this is called Walking On The Moon".
"This is gonna be our next single. It's for you. It's called Message In A Bottle".
"Here is another new song. It's called The Bed's Too Big Without You".
Before Roxanne: "I'm gonna do something silly. I'm gonna pour this water down my back. Feels much better. You don't have to put on the red light. Those days are over".
After the encore The Police returned on stage and received a gold record award for "Outlandos d’Amour" from someone of Countdown.
On 10-10-1979 Veronica broadcasted parts of the show. After the broadcast the address of the Dutch fanclub "Peanuts" was shown. This resulted in about 700 reactions.
